FROM THE DEPTHS OF OUR COLLECTIVE IMAGINATIONS
WE BELIEVE SURFING ISN’T JUST ABOUT THE PROS—IT’S A LIFESTYLE, A PASSION, AND A COMMUNITY. OUR MISSION IS TO KEEP THIS SPIRIT ALIVE AND BRING TO LIFE UNIQUE PIECES IN COLLABORATION WITH INTERESTING INDIVIDUALS.

THE ORIGIN
This is what drives us at Mid Fin Co. We create so every surfer, regardless of skill level, can experience the exhilaration and camaraderie of surf culture. We’re here to remind you that the waves aren’t just calling the pros—they’re calling all of us.

It all began on the shores of Bali, with two fresh slabs of polyurethane in hand. We were eager to hit the water and put our talent on display. The local photographer at the warung gave us a nod as we paddled out, ready to capture every moment.
After a satisfying session, we returned to shore brimming with excitement—only to face a sobering reality as we scrolled through the photos; we weren’t destined to be pro surfers.
Yet something more profound resonated within us. We weren’t mere beginners, nor masters of surfing wizardry. We found ourselves in a beautiful middle ground, where our skill, heart, and connection with the ocean transcended expertise or titles—a place that had taken us around the globe, gifted us friendships, and shaped our lives.
This realization was the genesis of Mid Fin Co.—a company dedicated to honoring the journey of everyday surfers who find joy in the middle of the spectrum, where every wave is an expression, even a celebration, of being perfectly “mid.”
SUSTAINABILITY
We don’t exist without the ocean—so we feel it’s our responsibility to keep it clean. All our direct packaging is fiber-based, earth-digestible, and curbside recyclable. We kept it simple, so you can enjoy your fin guilt-free and toss what you’re not surfing with straight into your blue bin.
PARTNERSHIP WITH A NEW EARTH PROJECT
Every year, tons of packaging, and plastic fins end up polluting our oceans and beaches. Careless waste threatens marine life, damages ecosystems, and undermines the very waves we cherish. It’s easy to overlook, but every piece of trash left behind or tossed aside contributes to a growing crisis that affects surfers and sea lovers everywhere. We can't be perfect but we try our best and work with A New Earth Project to make sure we have the most sustainable packaging.
